Summer Adventure (N1-K1)

This Summer Programme is specially designed to provide children with wide range of activities to engage them in their various interests during the long summer holidays. This will be weeks of new experiences and some favourite old ones too such as cookery. The activities will be arranged by age group to maximize the development of their potential and interests. The medium of instruction will be English. The programme contains the following areas of development:
1. Creative Art
This is to develop children’s creativity and pride in their accomplishments by exploring and using art materials, enriching their aesthetic development and increasing appreciation of their own work and the work of others.
2. Literature
This activity is aimed at building children’s confidence in self-expression and communication. Various kinds of activities will be provided to enhance their listening, speaking, pre-reading and prewriting skills and to stimulate their interests such as storytelling, rhymes / songs and finger plays.
3. Little Chefs
Children will have an opportunity to learn about food, to be creative, and to prepare their own snacks, such as sandwich, bread sushi, etc. Best of all, you can enjoy the food your child have made too!
4. Creative Movements
It emphasizes coordination, strength, agility and flexibility; the basic elements in sports. At the same time, this will develop children’s self-confidence and discipline, social, perceptual and emotional fitness in a safe and fun-filled environment.
5. Farewell Event
A Farewell Party will be held during the last lesson of the programme. This will allow children to share the fun they have had during the course and be ready for the new school year to come.

Date: July 23 to August 10, 2012 (Monday to Friday) 15 lessons
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Place: Tivoli International Playschool (1/F., 14 I, Tsing Yi Garden, Tsing Yi Square, Tsing Yi,Tel: 2432-6622)
Fees: $3,500.00 (15 lessons including materials)
Age Group: Suitable for children from 18 months to 30 months
Medium of Instruction: English
Remarks: Each child must be accompanied by one adult who understands and speaks English

2. Early Literature
A literacy-rich environment is provided for children to interact naturally and positively alongside each other and with adults as well. This aims to promote the enjoyment of reading books and singing nursery songs and rhymes.
3. Creative Movements
This area of development emphasizes coordination, strength, agility and flexibility, the basic elements in sports. At the same time, this will develop children’s self-confidence and discipline, social, perceptual and emotional fitness in a safe and fun-filled environment.

Please be informed that limited spaces are available and it will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
