教育講座系列(十六) : 提升學前兒童語言能力
學前階段的聆聽理解和說話表達能力，是小學階段讀寫能力發展的基礎，因此家長不應忽視學前階段的理解和表達困難。學前兒童的語言發展雖有快有慢，但研究顯示四至六歲有理解和/或表達困難的學前兒童，有部份有持久性的發展性語言障礙，而非短暫的語言遲緩。此講座旨在與家長和老師分享一些幫助學前兒童更有效地學習 （1）詞彙的策略 (多、變、解、說) 和（2） 表達自己的策略 (重、連、問)。

The Faculty of Education is going to organise the 16th Education Seminar Series entitled “Ways to Facilitate Language Development in Kindergarten Children” on January 11, 2020 (Saturday), from 10:30 am to 12:00 nn in T2, G/F, Meng Wah Complex, HKU (map).
The seminar aims to share with parents and teachers some strategies to help children to learn new words (quantity, variability, explanation, repetition) and to learn how to express themselves more effectively (recast, connective and question). The seminar will be conducted by Dr Anita Wong, Ms Rosanna Lee and Ms Cecilia Au in Cantonese.
